From his early days collaborating with cultural foundations and the Organization of Islamic Economics to his groundbreaking work in digital information technology, he has left an indelible mark on the nation’s social and economic landscape. He spearheaded the Information Technology Exhibition at the 9th Tehran International Book Fair, a testament to his unwavering commitment to fostering knowledge and innovation.
Beyond the digital realm, Dr. Yarmohammadi’s entrepreneurial spirit flourished. He established the Institute of Digital Information and Publishing, showcasing his passion for bridging the gap between technology and information dissemination. His expertise extended to the Ministry of Agriculture and Iran some Universities, where he collaborated on research and educational initiatives.
In 2007, Dr. Yarmohammadi’s love for tea found expression in Gohar Noosh Company, a food and tea production powerhouse under the TeaGol brand. His ventures into health tourism and consultancy solidified his reputation as a multifaceted leader, equally adept at navigating the worlds of academia, business, and public service.

3. Building Bridges across the Indian Ocean: Dr. Yarmohammadi’s Sri Lankan Chapter
Dr. Yarmohammadi’s dedication to international diplomacy shines brightly in his work with Sri Lanka. He serves as the President of both the Sri Lanka-Iran Friendship Association in Colombo and the Iran-Sri Lanka Friendship Association in Tehran, actively fostering cultural and economic understanding between the two nations.
His role as Secretary of the Iran-Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce (under establishment) highlights his commitment to forging practical economic partnerships. As an advisor to the former Sri Lankan ambassador to Iran and a representative for Iran in trade fairs, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening bilateral relations.
Dr. Yarmohammadi’s impact extends beyond mere diplomacy. He has conducted extensive research on Sri Lanka’s political, cultural, and social fabric, contributing valuable insights to the nation’s economic and trade growth strategies. As a Sri Lankan Tea Market Development Consultant, he has leveraged his expertise to connect Sri Lankan producers with markets in the Middle East.
His tireless efforts extend to humanitarian ventures, such as the construction of a school and sports center in Hambantota, and entrepreneurial initiatives aimed at creating opportunities for low-income families. He has established the Economic Committee of the Sri Lanka-Iran Friendship Association to facilitate trade cooperation and participates in numerous projects aimed at bolstering Sri Lanka’s development.

He serves as the Chairman of Behgozin International Group(BIG), an international business group, and South and Southeast Asia Economic Cooperation Office (SAECO), playing a pivotal role in fostering economic collaboration across the region as well as Reginal Representative of CCCACD (cultural collaboration center of Asian Cooperation Dialogue) in culture and tourism
